Police issue appeal after fatal collision near Selby
The driver, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision near Thorpe Willoughby.
It happened at approximately 6am yesterday (30 March) on Greenlands Lane and involved a Black CLA 250 AMG which left the road.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
The road was closed for several hours whilst police investigated the scene and to allow the vehicle involved to be recovered.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
