The relatives of a man murdered in Cleethorpes have been speaking out as part of a campaign designed to highlight the very real dangers of violence.

They've teamed up with Humberside police

Tom Gaughan's grandad, aunty and one of his daughters are helping raising awareness of violent crime.

They've been sharing their memories of Tom - who died from knife injuries in July last year to highlight the impact violence can have on families.

Connor Hulse was jailed for life - with a minimum term of 23 years - for his murder.

They've spoken about Tom and how much they miss him.

Here are a selection of their thoughts.

"He was a family man who worked hard."

"He was a good daddy who always used to take us everywhere."

"We fetched him up from being 6 years old - he was more like a son than grandson."

"He was my soulmate."

"He loved skating - he was devoted to his children - absolutely devoted."

"He always used to take us to the pool - we always used to go swimming at Thorpe Park."
