Police have released images of a man they’d like to speak with after approximately £15,000 worth of items were reported stolen from the University of Nottingham.

The incident happened across the campus at University Park, Nottingham, between 4-6pm on Tuesday 18 March.

It’s also believed that around £3,000 worth of items from individual staff and students went missing.

The man pictured in the CCTV images may have vital information and police have asked him to come forward.

Police Constable Alexander Beardsley, of the city response team, said:

“The significant number of objects stolen, including hi-tech camera equipment and laptops, has come at the detriment of students and staff members at the university.

“Personal items including debit cards, credit cards and a house key have also been reported missing.

“We believe the person pictured in the images can help us with our investigation and urge him or anyone who knows him to come forward without delay.”
