22-year-old charged with Nottingham city centre stabbing

A man's been charged in connection with a stabbing in Nottingham City Centre.

Emergency services were called around 4am on Sunday (17th November) to reports a 17-year-old had sustained stab wounds to the chest.

Police say they arrested a 22-year-old on Monday, he's now been charged with two offences in connection with the incident.

Mohammed Ahmadalye, aged 22, of Bath Street, Nottingham, is charged with making threats with a bladed article in a public place and wounding with intent.

We're told the victim is recovering in critical, but stable condition

Nottinghamshire Police has referred itself to the IOPC due to past involvement with both the suspect and the victim.
