13 year old boy charged with sexual offences
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today.
A 13 year old boy in Leicester has been charged in connection with several sexual offences.
It relates to three separate incidents in July in two areas of Newfoundpool.
The teenager has also been charged with being in possessing a knife.
Leicestershire Police stated:
"The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with:
- Attempted oral rape on a female and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place in Ruby Street on 10 July 2024
- Affray with intent to commit a sexual offence on a female and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place on 29 July 2024 in Stephenson Drive
- Sexual assault on a female and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place on 31 July 2024 in Rowan Street
- Possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place on 1 August 2024 in Fosse Road North."
