Weymouth FC part with Manager Mark Molesley

The club announced he will leave with immediate effect

They posted a statement on their webpage, saying that after a meeting, the club Board of Directors have decided that Weymouth Football Club will part ways with Mark Molesley with immediate effect. They say this is due to results not meeting expectations.

The club say Jason Matthews will take charge of first team fixtures while the club look for a new manager.

They thanked Mark for his efforts and wish him every success in the future.

Mark Molesley has a long and complicated past with Bournemouth, starting his coaching career whilst playing for Weymouth in 2016, he became a player-coach for the team.

In 2017 he became manager of the cub, leaving in 2020 for Southend United

He returned for a second spell as manager of the Terras in April of this year.
