There's an appeal to trace a wanted man from Bournemouth, who's been recalled to prison.

Dorset Police say 53 year old James Foy has failed to comply with the terms of his licence following release.

Officers have been working to locate him, but efforts have so far been unsuccessful and they're looking for our help.

Foy is described as:

  • Five feet seven inches tall
  • Slim build
  • Short, brown hair

Detective Sergeant Richard Barnett, of Dorset Police, said:

“We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate Foy, but these have so far proved unsuccessful and I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us.

“While there is no information to suggest Foy presents a risk to the general public, we would urge anyone who sees him not to approach him but to instead dial 999 immediately.”

Anyone with other information should call 101, quoting reference number 55240172060.
