A suspicious vehicle fire's being investigated by police in Bournemouth.

A white van was reported as having been set alight at Hood Crescent at 10.30pm on Thursday last week (27th July).

Dorset Police believe the blaze may have been started deliberately.

Two males, aged between 16 and 30 years old and with their hoods up, were seen running from the area.

PC Dan Patrascu, of Bournemouth police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“Also, I would like to hear from any residents in the wider area who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV that may assist my investigation.”
