Two injured after large fight in Weymouth

Police say as many as ten people could have been involved in the altercation early on Sunday morning

Police are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a large fight in Weymouth.

Dorset Police were called to reports of an altercation between two men in their 20s, and a group of up to eight people, on Westham Road at around 4am on Sunday.

One man suffered a fractured jaw, and another a cut lip, laceration to his ear, and swelling to his forehead.

Police have described one person who was involved in the fight as white, six feet two inches tall and of slender build.

Another person has been described as white, five feet ten inches tall, and of slim build.

Anyone with information, including witnesses and people with dashcam or CCTV footage, is being asked to contact Dorset Police.
