Two arrested in Bridport following drugs raids

Police have executed warrants at two addresses in the town

Two properties in Bridport have been searched under a drugs warrant, with two people arrested.

Officers raided addresses in Gore Cross Way and Doctor Roberts Close yesterday morning (Wednesday 24th January).

Large quantities of Class B drugs, cash, cigarettes and vapes were found and seized during the warrants.

A 46 year old man and a 33 year old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Sergeant Michael Brown, of Bridport Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:

“We will not give up on pursuing those who are suspected of being involved in the supply of illegal drugs in our area.

“We know that reported drug-related activity has a detrimental effect on our communities, and we value any information from members of the public that helps us to build an intelligence picture.
