Two teenagers arrested following Christchurch robbery

A robbery against two teenagers in Christchurch has seen their mountain bikes and bags being stolen.

Dorset Police say the incident happened on the Recreation Ground, near Barrack Road, at around 8.40pm on Sunday (25th June).

Two 15 year old victims were assaulted by a group of other teenagers.

A 17 year old boy from Poole and a 16 year old boy from Bournemouth have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Detective Constable Steve Davis, of Bournemouth CID, said:

“We are conducting a number of enquiries into this incident, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that could assist our investigation.

“I would also urge any motorists who were travelling in the area of Barrack Road and the Christchurch Recreation Ground on the evening of Sunday 25 June 2023 to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
