Perfume stolen in Dorchester department store burglary

Goulds Fashion on South Street has been broken into

A quantity of perfume's been stolen from a Dorchester department store, during a burglary.

Dorset Police were called to Goulds Fashion on South Street just after 1.00am on Monday (Bank Holiday 28th August).

An offender is described as:

  • Around five feet four tall
  • Wearing a hooded top with a logo on the left arm
  • Cuffed jogging bottoms with zipped pockets
  • Crocs with socks
  • A covering over their nose and mouth

PC Abi Snelling, of West Dorset police, said:

“I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and am keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

“Also, I would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the town centre around the time of the incident and saw a person matching the description given.

“Finally, if you have been offered any perfume for sale locally in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”
