A moped's been stolen from outside an address in Bournemouth, with police releasing a picture of it.

Officers are hoping we might have seen the vehicle being driven around, or put up for sale locally.

The white Peugeot scooter was taken from St Peter's Road, between 3.30 and 11.40pm on Saturday 20th January.

It has red strips and an L plate on the front, with a black delivery box on the back, including a Rolling Stones sticker.

PC Lewis Gravett, of Bournemouth police, said:

“This incident has had a significant impact on the victim and we are carrying out enquiries to try and locate the moped.

“I am issuing an image of the stolen scooter and would ask anyone who has seen it in the local area to get in touch.

“Also, if you have seen a moped matching the one described for sale online in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”

If you can help with any information, you're asked to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting reference number 55240010485.
