Man in his 70s seriously injured in Corfe Mullen crash

A two vehicle collision happened on Lockyers Road

A man in his 70's has suffered serious injuries after a crash involving two cars in Corfe Mullen.

The collision happened just before 9.30pm yesterday (Monday 22nd January) on Lockyers Road, at the junction with Roman Heights.

A grey Skoda Fabia and a beige Volkswagen Beetle were involved - the injured man was the driver of one of the cars.

The other driver - a woman in her 40's from Poole - wasn't injured.

There's now an appeal for witnesses to contact officers.

PC Billy Forster, of East Dorset police, said:

“We are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.

“I would also like to hear from any motorists with dashcam fitted to their vehicle who were in the area and may have captured relevant footage.”
