A man has been jailed for more than three years for stealing bank cards from a leisure centre in Salisbury.

Aiden Marks from Khartoum Road in Weymouth went into people's lockers at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre between 13 February and 26 March.

The 31-year-old entered their cars in the car park and stole items before returning the keys.

He then used the cards in supermarkets.

Marks pleaded guilty to six charges of fraud by false representation, six counts of theft, possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class B drug.

Local crime investigator Fiona Penny from Wiltshire Police, said: "I hope this sentence is a deterrent to others who think it is okay to go through other people's things and take what they want.

"Marks repeatedly took advantage of people who had not locked their personal items away and used their money for his own gratification."
