Man suffers life-threatening injury after being hit by car in Weymouth
Emergency services were already attending an incident nearby at the time
A man in his 70's has suffered a potentially life-threatening injury after being hit by a car in Weymouth.
Emergency services had been called to a crash involving two cars in Melcombe Avenue at around 4.45pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 22nd November).
While they were on the scene, there they received a call from the ambulance service about another incident a short distance away on the same route, involving a pedestrian and a car.
Police say no arrests have been made.
The road was closed for around four hours to allow for investigations and recovery.
