Man injured while trying to break up fight in Poole bar

Police are now asking witnesses to come forward

A man's suffered a dislocated shoulder and facial bruising, while trying to break up a fight in a Poole bar.

The victim, who's in his 20s and from Wareham, was assaulted at Temple in Bournemouth Road, Ashley Cross at around midnight into Saturday morning (7th April).

The attack, by an unknown man, happened following an altercation between two groups of people.

Dorset Police tell us an offender's described as:

  • Aged in his 20s
  • Around six feet tall
  • Skinny build
  • Short brown hair
  • Wearing a red jumper
  • Was with another man and a woman

PC Joseph McKee, of Poole police, said:

“This incident has had a significant impact on the victim and we are doing all we can to identify the offender.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the bar and saw what happened to please come forward.

“If you have information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
