Indecent exposure reported on Weymouth footpath

It's alleged a man exposed himself to three teenagers off Newstead Road

An indecent exposure incident is being investigated by police in Weymouth, after three teenagers were targeted.

It's alleged a man exposed himself to a group of young people on the footpath behind the Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre, between Newstead Road and Chickerell Road.

It happened between 4.00 and 5.00pm on Thursday last week (6th June).

The man involved is described as:

  • White
  • Around 60 years old
  • Five feet five inches tall
  • Medium build
  • Balding grey hair
  • Wearing a red tracksuit top with black details
  • Black tracksuit bottoms
  • Thin framed glasses

PC Connor Lombardo, of Weymouth police, said:

“We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.

“I would also ask any motorists who were driving in the areas of Chickerell Road, Newstead Road or Knightsdale Road on the afternoon of Thursday 6 June 2024 to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
