Those that turned up to Brewery Square had a ghoulishly good time though!

Over two hundred ghosts have gathered in Dorchester's Brewery Square this weekend (Saturday 28th October), but sadly there weren't enough for a new world record!

It was hoped that enough ghoulies would turn up for a record-breaking meet-up, but it seems the wet and windy weather kept the spirits away.

Another attempt is already being considered for next Halloween.

Tara Bailey, Centre Manager at Brewery Square said:

“It’s been a day to remember here at Brewery Square and we’re already looking to next year and breaking the record. We saw hundreds of families enjoying the Square, visiting the shops and rounding the day off in our restaurants.

"A huge thank you to everyone that took part, it was a blustery and stormy day and yet the ghosts of Dorchester rallied in excellent fashion.”
