Assault in Bournemouth leaves man with serious injuries

Three men have been arrested in connection with the attack

A man in his 40s has been seriously injured, but in a stable condition in hospital, after an assault in Bournemouth.

Police were called to outside the Kokoro restaurant in Old Christchurch Road at 12.15am on Saturday (10th February).

Three men from the London area, aged between 21 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH.

They've all been released on bail while enquiries are ongoing.

There's an appeal for any witnesses to contact Dorset Police.

Detective Inspector Mark White, of BCP CID, said:

“A detailed investigation is underway and I would ask anyone with information about this incident to please contact Dorset Police.

“There were a number of people in the area at the time who witnessed what happened and I would ask them to please come forward.”
