Police appeal following an incident of indecent exposure in Carlisle

Police are appealing for CCTV footage as part of an investigation into an incident of indecent exposure in Carlisle.

Officers are investigating a report of indecent exposure which happened on Friday 17th May at around 1am in the area of Marlborough Gardens.

It was reported that a man had been seen walking in the area wearing no clothing.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may hold any relevant CCTV, camera doorbell or dashcam footage in the areas of Stanwix Bank, Marlborough Gardens and Etterby Street and specifically with footage between midnight and 3am on 17th May.

A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
