Emergency services at the scene of an incident in Workington
It follows a report of an explosion at a brewing facility off Calva Brow
A road closure is currently in place following an incident at a commercial premises in Workington this afternoon (13 May).
At 2.50pm, police were contacted by NWAS who had received a report of an explosion at a brewing facility off Calva Brow.
The NWAS, Police and Fire are currently in attendance.
At this time it is believed there is a single injured man who has suffered serious burns.
People are asked to avoid the area whilst emergency services continue with their work at the scene.
