A woman has died after a house fire in Coventry
Emergency services were called to Sandy Lane in the city around 2.25pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday 22nd February 2025).
The body of a woman in her 30s was found inside the property.
Investigators are still working today to establish the cause of the fire today, which is currently being treated at unexplained.
A spokesperson from West-Midlands Police said:
"We remain at the scene today and are working closely with West Midlands Fire Service to establish the cause of the fire, which is being treated as unexplained.
"Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch via 101 or Live Chat, quoting log 2480 of 22 February."
