Officers in Coventry have arrested a man and seized a crossbow.

Officers from the Gangs Taskforce and County Lines team carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant in Walton Close, recovering £15,000 cash, a kilo of bagged cannabis and a crossbow.

They also found a small bag of what was later confirmed as MDMA.

A 36-year-old man later arrived at the address and was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

He has since been bailed while enquiries continue.

We are continuing our efforts to tackle serious and organised crime through Op Target.

Op Target sees regular proactive policing against everything from drugs to guns and modern slavery.

We have already recorded some excellent results during Op Target, with thousands of pounds of cash and drugs seized and dozens of firearms taken off the street.

Last month, two men were arrested and £350,000 of class A drugs were seized, while earlier on in May a warrant resulted in two firearms, a zombie knife and a quantity of class A drugs recovered.
