Well, thanks to our handy Q&A, you can find out everything you could need to know about The Hits Radio Breakfast Show team right here!
From each of their most memorable on air moments, ultimate throwbacks and what they love most about the duchy, get to know Neil and Saffy a bit better, and all of the ways you can tune in...
What can we expect from your show?
Neil: "Waking up Cornwall every day with big songs, a smile and a laugh."
Saffy: "An energised wake up call to help fuel listeners for the day ahead, with the biggest hits and lots of fun and laughter along the way."
What is your favourite thing about presenting your show?
Neil: "Hearing from listeners, after all the show is for them - it’s an honour to share the morning with them."
Saffy: "Working with Neil (obvs!). I love being a presenter, it’s a dream job. I’m proud to be a voice for real people - having an honest platform to talk about anything and everything."
Describe your co-hosts in three words…
Neil said Saffy was: "Loud. Chaotic. (But…) Fun!"
Saffy said Neil was: "Prepared. “Mr Nice”. Athletic (he used to run for Great Britain, don’t you know? He made me write this)."
What features will listeners hear on your show?
Neil and Saffy said: "Every morning you can play 'The Secret Sound'. It's the most annoying, but addictive game in Cornwall, there's 'Saffy in the Shower '- the marmite game of the century! Plus, we feature listener dilemmas on our 'What Would You Do Wednesday'.
"And every weekday we give you the chance to win life-changing sums of money on Hits Radio with Make Me A Winner. It’s the best feeling hearing our listeners having their lives changed!"
What’s your favourite thing about Cornwall?
Neil: "Everything! The people, the beaches, the scenery…that’s why everybody visits, right? 😉"
Saffy: "Everything. What’s not to love?"
So far, what’s been one of your most memorable on-air moments?
Neil: "Saffy and I bouncing for 12 hours on a trampoline for Cash for Kids Day. What an amazing charity."
Saffy: "So many LOLs to choose from, but a stand out moment has to be when I unknowingly became a voice for others when opening-up about my chronic illness. The wave of love, support and appreciation was overwhelming and emotional."
Aside from waking up Cornwall each morning, what do you get up to?
Neil: "Exploring! I was born in Cornwall but I’ve still not seen or experienced everything! I love a beach walk but really I’m happy anywhere or doing anything…I do however have a real affection for the Lost Gardens of Heligan - steeped in history and a chance to escape."
Saffy: "I’m a busy active Mum. I love getting out and about and exploring our surroundings. In the summer i love to SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) and in my free time I’m either at the gym or socialising with friends."
What is your go-to track to listen to in the car?
Neil: "Kenya Grace, Strangers. Can’t get enough of it."
Saffy: "Teddy Swims, 'Lose Control' (I’m obsessed). Can I also add Becky Hill 'Disconnect'?"
What do the biggest hits sound like to you?
Neil: "The right songs at the right time, all day."
Saffy: "I love our hits and throwbacks! 90s, naughties, pop, dance, R&B - anything that will get you dancing like no one‘s watching!"
Tell us your ultimate throwback song:
Neil: "Ultra Nate 'Free.' I sing my heart out every time!"
Saffy: "Bodyrox 'Yeah Yeah'. The moment the first beat drops I start dancing like a mad woman!!!"
