Hop aboard the Cash for Kids Express!
A magical trip organised by When You Wish Upon A Star!
Hits Radio Manchester Cash for Kids & Radio City Cash for Kids teamed up with When You Wish Upon A Star to send 50 very special and deserving families on a day to remember. On Saturday 25th August The Greatest Showman themed Cash for Kids Express embarked on her maiden voyage to Muncaster Castle.
The journey began in Liverpool & Manchester where everybody climbed on board the iconic luxurious Northern Belle train & into the GREATEST world of magic and excitement. The families were greeted with a delicious 5 course brunch with magicians & stilt walkers entertaining the children (& adults!)
Everybody arrived at Muncaster Castle where the sun was shining and a day filled with fun & wonder awaited them. The families had the opportunity to take part in an array of activites such as juggling, archery & acrobatics.
The children gasped in awe at the Owl & Falconry show before embarking on a grand tour of the castle and grounds where they bumped into the Solstice witch & her pet lion. Before boarding the Cash for Kids Express the families cheered & danced to the Greatest Showman live performance in the big top tent.
The day finished with an excquisite 4 course meal back on the Northern Belle whilst taking in the beautiful country side, singing songs & the children showing off best dance moves (there was even a conga line!)
Everbody had the most wonderful day, filled with love, laugher, music & wonderful food. Both Cash for Kids teams feel honoured to have been able to give everybody involved a magical day to remember!
