Two men jailed for Bristol drug supply
They both admitted their involvement
Two men have been jailed for a combined total of more than six years after admitting involvement in the supply of Class A drugs across Bristol.
Khalil Mohamod, 38, from Cardiff and Carlton Morris, 58, from Montpelier in Bristol, were sentenced at Bristol Crown Court last Friday (9 February).
Both were arrested in February last year after an investigation by Avon and Somerset Police.
Officer in the case PC Mark Owen said: “The County Lines team, working in partnership with other internal and external agencies, has destroyed a drugs line that was supplying Class A drugs to users in Bristol.
“We have brought perpetrators to justice and have safeguarded a child, who was exposed to unnecessary and unacceptable risk.
“Illicit drugs and criminal property have been seized and the perpetrators have been given custodial sentences."
PC Owen says the sentencing demonstrates the force's commitment to tackling the supply of illegal drugs and safeguarding the vulnerable.
Morris will serve two years in prison, while Mohamod will serve four and a half years.
