Tenth person charged in connection with Bristol Southport violence
20-year-old Joseph Bradford is due in court this morning
A tenth person has been charged in connection with violent disorder in Bristol city centre on Saturday 3rd August.
Violence broke out between anti-immigration demonstrators and counter protestors in Castle Park. It followed false reporting online that the suspect in the fatal stabbing of three young girls in Southport two weeks ago is an illegal immigrant.
Joseph Bradford (20), from Bishopworth in Bristol is charged with violent disorder and is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today.
It brings the total number of people arrested in connection with the Bristol violence to 24.
