Somerset: Serious collision on A38

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed they are currently at the scene of a serious collision in Somerset (4 October).

The A38 is closed in both directions at its junction with the A361 at Walford Cross.

The force said: "The road is expected to be closed for some times and we'd advise motorists to seek alternative routes."

Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: "A38 Adsborough Hill Northbound closed, slow traffic due to accident from Creech St Michael turn off to Boome Lane."
