A cordon has been put in place following an incident in Frenchay.
Avon and Somerset Police say officers are at the house on Sage Road where a man died.
The force were called out by the ambulance service at about 1 o'clock this afternoon, with the man's death currently being treated as unexplained.
In a statement, a spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: “Officers are in attendance at a property in Sage Road, Frenchay, following an incident in which a man has sadly died.
“We were called to attend the scene by the ambulance service at about 1pm today (Monday 21 August).
“The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“A cordon is in place while we carry out further enquiries.”
