Police investigating assault in Weston-super-Mare
The force are now appealing for witnesses to the incident in Knightstone Gardens
Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of an assault in Weston-Super-Mare.
Officers attended the scene in Knightstone Gardens, Clarence Road South, yesterday morning (17 July).
The victim, a man in his 30s, needed hospital treatment.
He has since been discharged.
The force arrested a 37 year old man in connection with the incident but he has been released on conditional bail whilst police continue to investigate.
Officers now want to speak to anyone who saw this incident, or who may have any relevant mobile phone, doorbell or dashcam footage.
