A man has died after a wall collapsed on Parrys Lane
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed an investigation is underway after a man has died in Bristol.
The force confirmed the man died after a wall collapsed on Parrys Lane in the Stoke Bishop area.
In a statement the police said: "Officers are investigating the death of a man in Parrys Lane, in Stoke Bishop, Bristol, after receiving a call from the ambulance service at around 12.50pm today (Wednesday 4 September).
"His next of kin are aware and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
"The man sadly died while at work and we are therefore liaising with the Health and Safety Executive and together, are carrying out enquiries into the incident."
