Major A-road shut due to flooding in South Gloucestershire
Fire crews are at the scene tackling the flooded road
A major A-road on the edge of Bristol is currently shut (3 September) due to flooding overnight.
Emergency services are warning drivers to avoid Keynsham Road in Willsbridge, South Gloucestershire, as firefighters tackle the flooded road.
According to traffic monitor site Inrix, the road is closed in both directions between the A431 Bath Road and the Farm turn off.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service said numerous crews are at the scene.
First West of England bus service have also reported delays in the area, with traffic queueing along the road. They are advising residents they will be following a diversion via Marsham Way.
