M5 closed northbound a four-vehicle accident
Emergency services remain at the scene

Drivers are being warned the M5 remains closed northbound at Bristol after a four-vehicle collision involving two lorries and two vans this morning.
Emergency services were called to between junctions 17 for Cribbs Causeway and 18, for the M49, at around 6am.
It's not believed anyone was seriously injured but emergency services remain at the scene
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police says:
“Emergency services attended a four-vehicle collision on the northbound carriageway of the M5 between junctions 18A (M49) and 17 (Cribbs Causeway) this morning (15 January).
“We were called shortly after 6am following the collision which involved two lorries and two vans.
“Officers attended alongside emergency colleagues, including the fire service following a fire involving one of the vehicles. The fire has since been extinguished.
“The carriageway was initially closed but one lane has since reopened.
“No serious injuries were reported.”
