Accident closes part of the M5 near Portishead
The M5 is shut near to Portishead after a serious crash.
Highways England said:
"Avon and Somerset Police are in attendance with a serious collision which occurred at 03:47 this morning. Police investigation teams are currently in attendance and the road remains closed whilst they complete their enquiries at scene. National Highways have resources in attendance to deal with an oil spillage and traffic management.
"The road is expected to remain closed throughout the morning. "
It's affected Southbound between Junction 19 and 20 - Police are there at the moment.
