Lorry driver died after incident at Bristol warehouse

B&M confirmed the driver had died in the early hours of Sunday morning

A lorry driver has died in what's being called "a tragic incident" at a warehouse in Bristol.

It's claimed the driver died at the B&M in Avonmouth and an investigation has since been launched by the Health and Safety Executive.

In a statement it said: "We are leading the investigation into this incident and remain in contact with Avon and Somerset Police.”

B&M confirmed the driver had died in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A spokesperson from B&M said: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

"At this moment, we are working closely with the relevant authorities and conducting a thorough investigation to establish all the facts surrounding this tragic incident.

"In the meantime, our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones affected during this incredibly difficult time.”
