Passengers at Bristol Airport are reporting long queues caused by check in issues.

The airport have confirmed some self-service kiosks stopped working for a while this morning, causing numerous delays for those hoping to take a late summer holiday.

Though they added the problem has been resolved and things are getting back to normal.

In a statement, the airport said: "For a few hours this morning some self-service kiosks were out of order so staff manually checked-in passengers.

"The problem has been resolved and things are back to normal. We apologise to any customers affected.”

Initially, some reports claimed it was an EasyJet issue. But when we approached them for a comment they said: "It was a temporary airport issue affecting other airlines as well, not specific to easyJet, which resulted in longer than usual wait times at bag drop for a short time this morning while bags were checked in manually, but has since been resolved."
