Do you recognise the man in this image?
Police are keen to trace him as part of our enquiries into an attempted burglary at a house in Newbridge Road, St Annes, Bristol.
Between 1pm and 3pm on Thursday 2 September the rear door of a house was damaged by someone trying to force entry to the property.
At around that time doorbell footage captured a man in the area. He is described as white, aged between 40 and 50, and stocky with a shaved head. He wore a black jacket and facemask and an orange high-vis tabard with what appears to be a Royal Mail logo.
Police are been unable to identify him despite enquiries with Royal Mail, who say he is not a member of staff.
Officers have been following a number of lines of enquiry with one person arrested and released under investigation.
If you have any information which could help to identify this man, please call 101 and give the reference number 5221203304.
All Royal Mail employees carry identification which they will show on request. If you have any concerns about someone claiming to be a Royal Mail employee you can confirm with the local delivery depot using a number from the phone book or their website.
