Huge queues at walk-in COVID-19 vaccination centre in Bristol
People say they have been waiting for 'hours'
Long queues have formed outside of a Bristol COVID-19 vaccination centre today.
Hundreds of people have been seen lining up around the site on Wellington Street, with many people saying they have been waiting there for 'hours'.
We spoke to some of those waiting to get their jab today:
"I've got elderly grandparents, so I want to make sure that when I see them I'm not compromising their health and safety."
"I'm travelling back to Norway, so if there are any rule changes I want to make sure that I can actually get there and get back."
"I'm from Spain and I have to fly on Sunday, so it's just easier to be protected and not just to protect me but also the people I'm going to see. I've got my granny and all my family, so I want to get it done so that I have more chances to go and make sure that everyone in my surroundings is going to be okay."
According to NHS England, more than 650,000 coronavirus booster bookings were made yesterday.
That is the second highest day for securing a third jab date, and it came after the online service opened to all eligible adults over 30.
The surge in bookings also followed Boris Johnson's announcement that everyone over the age of 18 will be offered a booster by the end of the year.
Elsewhere today, MPs will vote on Plan B COVID rules in England.
Around 75 MPs have suggested they're prepared to vote against new regulations - which include COVID passes.
