Heavy rain and strong, gusty winds are expected to hit the south west today (Thursday 24 November).

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for wind and rain. It is in force between 10.00am - 7.00pm.

There's a chance it could lead to flooding and transport delays.

What to expect?

  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely
  • Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible
