Fourth person arrested over fatal M4 crash

A fourth person has been arrested following a fatal collision on the M4 in Gloucestershire.

It happened in the early hours of Monday morning.

Emergency crews were called to a two-car collision on the M4 eastbound between junction 22 and 21 just after midnight.

Two women in their 50s and 60s from Bristol, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody - three men travelling in the other car were arrested at the scene and have been bailed.

Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
