Elderly man dies after car crashes in house in Bristol

An elderly man has died after a car crashed into a house in the Emersons Green area.

Emergency services were called to Ellacombe Road just after 1.30pm - where the driver, believed to be in his 80s, died at the scene.

The road remains closed by police - and the man's next of kin have been informed.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact officers on 101.
