Be prepared for disruption in Bristol today (2 April) as cyclists flock to the centre for an annual bike rave.

It’s been a year since DJ Domonic Whiting cycled through Bristol and the biker announced his plans to return to the city earlier this week.

Dom will be leading a pack of cyclist ravers through Bristol while blasting drum and bass from a custom-made mix desk attached to his bike.

The drum and bass bike was started by Dom in Wycombe during lockdown, to raise money for mental health charity Mind.

After receiving some media attention and positive feedback online, he continued the rides in hope that it would bring people together in a time without festivals and live music.

Now he travels Europe and the UK attracting up to 1,000 fellow cyclists looking to dance whilst travelling around the city.

The event is particularly popular with Bristolians.

Last year’s ride bought the city centre to a stand still and Dominic’s Bristol vlog amassed over one million views.

This Sunday he's due to start his route from the Amphitheatre on the Harbourside, from 2pm and complete a loop of the city centre.

This weekend’s cycle is particularly special to Domonic, who will be celebrating two years since the first drum and bass bike rave.

But the fun does not come without its disruption so if you’re planning to travel through the city, make extra time for the dancing bikers.
