An NHS Trust in Bristol has issued a warning stating their A&E department is under "intense pressure."
The North Bristol NHS Trust says patients visiting the Southmead Hospital A&E department should expect long wait times.
The NHS Trust said in a post yesterday (Monday, July 22): "Our Emergency Department is currently under pressure.
"If you attend with a non-emergency condition you may have a long wait, or might be redirected to another service. If you are unsure where to go for medical help, please use NHS 111 and they can advise you."
