Woman's body found in Bournemouth
Cordons are in place close to Middle Chine beach in Westbourne
An investigation's underway following the discovery of a woman's body in Bournemouth.
Police were called to Middle Chine beach in Westbourne just before 6.00am this morning (Wednesday 27h March).
Officers attended with ambulance crews to a woman who was unresponsive.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, with the coroner notified.
Officers say her death is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said:
"An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, which is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
"A cordon is in place at the scene and there will be an increased police presence in the area while enquiries are carried out."
