Weymouth Currys store to close this Spring
The Jubilee Retail Park branch is confirmed to be shutting
Weymouth's Currys store is to close within weeks, due to their lease coming to an end.
The branch on Jubilee Retail Park is due to shut on Friday 1st March 2024.
Affected staff are being supported by the electricals chain, with many moving to other stores in Dorchester or Poole.
In a statement, a Currys spokesperson said:
“We can confirm that our Weymouth store will be closing on 1 March as the lease comes to an end. Colleagues impacted have been made aware of this decision and will be redeployed to local stores such as Dorchester or Poole, if they wish. We will also support them if they choose to move to another business.
“Our customers in Weymouth will still be able to find all the tech they need at our stores in either Dorchester or Poole, where our colleagues will be looking forward to helping them.”
