A huge video tribute to The Queen is being displayed in Boscombe High Street as the nation mourns the late monarch.

Bournemouth Coastal BID funded the giant projection which was created by Julian Dorrell of Light Art Creatives.

The rolling video shows pictures of Her late Majesty on the 650 square foot of building frontage with audio to match.

The video montage will run regularly until Monday evening after the state funeral.

Fiona McArthur of the Coastal BID said: “Since we introduced the giant projector we have used it for many messages – but none so moving as this.

“It is a fine commemoration of the late Queen and shows photographs of her from throughout her reign.

“The video has been extremely well received in the town and is a fitting tribute from all of our businesses, the majority of which will remain closed on Monday as a mark of respect.”

The projector was purchased by the Coastal BID with help from Bournemouth Towns Fund, and is the UK’s first permanent 3D projection mapping system on a UK high street.
