Police are hunting two men who hurled racist abuse at a man in Bournemouth.

It happened at around 8.00pm on Tuesday night (5th September) as he left a house in Wakely Road in Kinson.

Two men were stood outside the gate, with the victim targeted in what police are calling an unprovoked hate crime.

The victim got into his car, and drove away.

He's also told officers that he was previously racially abused by a group of three men at around 6.00pm on Wednesday 16th August 2023, but had taken the decision not to report it to police.

The men are described as white and aged in their early 20s.

The first man was clean shaven and wore a dark-coloured baseball hat, light-coloured T-shirt with the Nike logo in the middle, grey tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

The second man had short light brown hair, a patchy beard and wore a tracksuit.

The third man is described as having blond hair, stubble and wore a light-coloured tracksuit.

PC Zeke Gura-Lowe, of North Bournemouth police, said:

“We have carried out a number of enquiries locally, including house-to-house and CCTV searches, in a bid to identify these men but this has not been successful.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed either incident or has any information as to who is responsible to please get in touch.

“We do not and will not tolerate hate crime in any form and will thoroughly investigate offences."
