Two people injured in three vehicle crash in Hurn

There's an appeal to trace witnesses to the Parley Lane collision

Two people have been hospitalised following a three vehicle collision in Hurn.

A silver Vauxhall Astra, a white DAF truck and a refuse lorry were involved, on Parley Lane at around 9.40am on Friday (19th January).

The Vauxhall and lorry drivers suffered injuries that aren't thought to be serious.

The road was closed for a time to allow for investigations and recovery of the vehicles.

There's now an appeal for witnesses.

PC Hugo Pike, of Bournemouth police, said:

“I am carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this collision and am keen to speak to any witnesses of the incident or manner of driving of the vehicles involved in the moments before.

“Also, if you were driving in the area and have a dashcam fitted that has captured relevant footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
