Three men arrested following Wareham pub assault

Three men have been arrested in Wareham following reports of an assault at a pub

Dorset Police were sent to the Duke of Wellington in East Street just before 12.30am on Saturday 27th May).

A man in his 20s has suffered facial injuries which needed hospital treatment.

Three men - a 22 year old, and two 21 year olds, all from Wareham, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Two of them have been bailed, while the third has been released under investigation.

PC Liam Sutherland, of Dorset Police, said:

“I am carrying out an investigation to establish what happened and am keen to hear from anyone with information.

“There may have been a number of people in the pub at the time and I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not already spoken to police.”
